Belgian soprano Jodie Devos passed away on June 16, 2024, in Paris, surrounded by family and friends. She was 35 years old.

Devos succumbed to breast cancer, which had recently forced her to cancel several engagements.

Devos was a celebrated figure in the world of classical music. In 2015, she was named Young Artist of the Year by the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA).
