Bayern Munich have finalized the acquisition of 25-year-old Japanese defender Hiroki Ito from Stuttgart. Hiroki Ito has inked a lucrative four-year contract that will see him remain with the Bavarian giants until 2028.

During the 2023-24 season, Ito made significant contributions to Stuttgart, featuring in 29 matches.
Hiroki Ito’s efforts were pivotal in securing a commendable second-place finish for the club in the Bundesliga, thereby clinching qualification for the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

Upon arriving at Bayern, Hiroki Ito stated: “It is a great honour for me to be able to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
“The name FC Bayern also has a good reputation in Japan. It was time to take a new step, and for me FC Bayern is the perfect club for that.” I always gave my all at VfB Stuttgart and am grateful to the club,” he added.
