The significant loss sparked concerns about the match’s integrity, leading the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to charge Real Tamale United with alleged player impersonation.
In their statement, Real Tamale United acknowledged these charges and confirmed their response to the Ghana Football Association.
The club, which was relegated from the elite division just over a week ago, appealed for understanding and compassion from both the general public and the Ghana Football Association.
