Manchester United Make Opening Bid for Jarrad Branthwaite

Manchester United have officially made their opening bid for promising Everton English defender Jarrad Branthwaite in a region reportedly around £45 million.

Sources suggest the offer was approximately £45 million, though some reports indicate it might have been significantly lower. Regardless of the exact figure, the bid is expected to be rejected by Everton.

Although, Everton have not placed a specific valuation on Jarrad Branthwaite, they will only accept a very huge fee before letting him leave due to scarcity of left-footed centre backs.

For Manchester United, strengthening their defense is a top priority this summer, particularly due to the departure of Raphael Varane and the fitness issues of their other defenders.

Manchester United are keen to secure a solid addition to their backline, and Jarrad Branthwaite looks like a very great candidate for that.

Everton might be compelled to sell Jarrad Branthwaite before the end of June to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules but they can keep him and sell another top star.
