Esteemed Highlife musician, Nana Fynn, now known as 2Lock, has revealed details about his extended absence from the music industry.

In an exclusive interview with 3Xtra, Nana Fynn disclosed that he initially intended to take a brief hiatus from music but ended up being away from the music scene for over a decade.
Nana Fynn has been absent from the music scene and has not released any songs since 2014.
“I haven’t hidden myself. One circumstance led to the other. I took a hiatus from music somewhere in 2014. I just wanted to take a three-year break and it has become a decade break,” she stated.

Nana Fynn, now performing under the stage name 2Lock as part of his rebranding effort, mentioned that he did release a song before the COVID-19 pandemic, but its promotion was disrupted due to the global health crisis.

“I feel I am on a new mission and I am going to do more reggae for that new mission because there are message that must go worldwide,” he explained his rebranding.
Even though he is rebranding himself as a reggae musician, 2Lock emphasized that he has not entirely moved away from highlife and remains willing to perform his hit songs for Ghanaians.
