The 2024 Ghana Football Awards was officially launched on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Big League Sports and Games Lounge in Osu in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

The event highlighted top performers in Ghanaian football playing and coaching, with notable nominations across various categories.
Mohammed Kudus faces tough competition from Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Austin FC’s Osman Bukari, and Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams in the Footballer of the Year category.

In the Women’s Footballer of the Year category, those competing include Mukarama Abudulai,Comfort Yeboah, Ophelia Amponsah, Bridget Adu, and Jennifer Kankam.
The Men’s Coach of the Year category sees Karim Zito, Desmond Offei, Nurudeen Amadu, and Kassim Mingle vying for the top spot.
In the Women’s Coach of the Year category, Black Queens boss Nora Hauptle is in the running against Yusif Basigi and Nana Joe Adarkwah.
Other awards are in line to be won during the highly anticipated event.
