Manchester United Expected To Pin Erik ten Hag To A Two Year Contract Extension

After a meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, it was confirmed that Erik Ten Hag would remain at the position of manager at Manchester United.

Erik Ten Hag had become increasingly frustrated as the club’s end-of-season review dragged on into its third week, fearing it would impact transfer plans and his own position.

Erik Ten Hag expressed his desire to continue and has agreed to negotiations for an extended contract.

Preliminary discussions have taken place with the club, although the exact length of the new deal is yet to be finalized. It is expected to be an additional two years.

Erik Ten Hag initially signed a three-year contract in 2022, which included an option for United to extend it by a further 12 months, setting its expiration for June 30, 2025.

The anticipated new contract would extend Erik Ten Hag’s tenure by two more years, giving him a total of three years from the end of this month.
