Alongside items like flares and political messages, fruits have been banned from being sent into the stadium by fans during this Euro 2024 tournament.

This decision is attributed to Germany’s initiative to promote sausage sales, with bringing fruits to the stadium resulting in potential punishment, including being banned from attending the remainder of the tournament.

According to UEFA’s guidelines, all food items will be confiscated at one of the three security checkpoints outside the 10 stadiums.

The supporters’ guide specifically mentions fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, etc., while omitting any other specific food items.

However, fans in need of medical attention will be permitted to bring healthy snacks, provided they inform stadium authorities in advance to obtain permission.

Additionally, smoking, vaping, and the possession of cannabis will be strictly prohibited within stadium premises.
