Initially, fingers pointed at Stonebwoy for allegedly influencing the cancellation, but the truth, according to the Dean of Students, Prof Rosina Kyerematen, lies elsewhere.
The Dean clarified that the event was axed because the organizers failed to obtain the necessary permissions for an artiste night, as they were only authorized for a Karaoke night.
Security arrangements were also lacking, further complicating matters.

Stonebwoy, in response, dismissed the allegations as ludicrous. He stressed that he had no involvement whatsoever in the cancellation, citing the Dean’s explanation as evidence.
Stonebwoy expressed surprise at the accusations and called for an apology from those who wrongly blamed him.
He emphasized his role solely as a performer, distancing himself from event organization. Despite the Dean’s clarification, Stonebwoy lamented the reluctance of some to acknowledge the truth and offer apologies, attributing it to their mindset.
In essence, Stonebwoy urges for the amplification of the truth and a shift away from baseless accusations.
