Dormaahene Open to Mining Companies in His Area If Profits Are Shared Equally

Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II plans to invite mining companies to his traditional areas to create jobs and boost the local economy.

He shared this in a video on X, stating he would accept only a 50% profit share for the government of Ghana.

This deal aims to ensure that the country benefits significantly from the mining activities, helping fund national development projects.

Dr. Agyemang Badu II also promised his community a better future with improvements in education and infrastructure.

He expressed confidence that a deal with mining companies would bring significant transformation to the area. He believes the revenue from mining would improve schools and infrastructure, enhancing the quality of life for everyone.

Recently, the Dormaahene met with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and urged him to consider candidates from various regions when selecting a running mate.

Dr. Agyemang Badu II, a respected leader, warned that focusing on one region for a running mate could divide voters and hurt the party’s chances in the election. He stressed the importance of inclusivity in selecting candidates to gain widespread support.

He emphasized that many capable individuals from different regions, including his own Bono region, are qualified for the running mate position.

He warned that ignoring this could lead to voters from other regions feeling neglected and voting against the party.

Dr. Agyemang Badu II’s call for broader consideration aims to ensure a more united and inclusive approach in the selection process.
