The founder of Eastwood Anaba Ministries commended his son, Archibald Rodney Eastwood-Anaba, for steadfastly maintaining their faith in God.

He expressed that his son and other siblings could have chosen to become non-believers following the family’s tumultuous experiences.

Yet, they held onto their belief in God’s mercies and embraced the work of God.

Eastwood Anaba shared this insight about his son and children while addressing an audience in Canada.

“Archi is sitting here in Canada and putting a meeting together. I looked at the screen, I looked at the sitting and I said this guy he can mobilize people. Today I took hold of Archi’s hand and I said Maame Adwoa thank you very much, you and your husband. I told her I want you to tell him that I said thank you.

Just tell him that Mummy and I are grateful not because he is doing EAM because EAM is an organization. Tell him Mummy and I are grateful because what happened to us as a family years ago Archi could have become an unbeliever. He could have said where is that God my father and mum said they are serving. This guy at that tender age managed to overcome and leave all that aside and not stay just as a Christian but a Minister of the Gospel and a leader.

For me you know it may look like he did it for himself because everybody works out their own salvation with fear and trembling. But truly, you and your brothers and your sisters you did it for me and mummy because if we were ever discouraged and broken when we look at you we are encouraged. That is because if that storm had swept them away me and mummy that is our end but every day they managed to stand. We look at them and say Lord we are grateful. I am a very emotional person, people think emotions are bad but I don’t think so. The other day my spiritual father ArchBishop Duncan Williams said the thing about Eastwood is that he doesn’t lose his humanity. I am a human being and Sir we are grateful,” he said.

He went on by saying: “You could have chosen to embarrass the Ministry, embarrass me, embarrass your mum and even chosen to embarrass God but I don’t know where you found the grace. I don’t know where you found this thing where somebody is drowning and clutches to a straw but not a life vest and manages to float. I have a spiritual mother who said Daddy don’t cry and I said how can someone who is full of gratitude not cry? How is that possible? If he had become an unbeliever, if he had fallen I would have cried so if he managed to stand let me cry. It is a cry of gratitude. You and your brothers and sisters are the reason why I still preach and still believe God.”
