According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, the 62-year-old singer filed for divorce in Nashville on May 22, 2024 citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct.
Cyrus is also seeking an annulment on the grounds of fraud. Despite being married for less than a year, the couple has already decided to part ways.
At the time of publication, Cyrus and Firerose, 37, do not follow each other on Instagram.
