Otoo questioned Kudus’ professionalism, suggesting he only plays for the Black Stars due to a perceived decline in the team’s quality.
She compared him unfavorably to past Ghanaian football stars like Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Kudus, who currently plays for West Ham United, faced backlash from Ghanaian fans after a challenging match against the Eagles in Bamako and another against CAR in Kumasi.

Some fans criticized his playing style, accusing him of holding onto the ball for too long. When confronted by one critic, Kudus responded with abbreviated language, telling them to “shut up.”
Despite the criticism, Kudus contributed to Ghana’s recent victory over the Wild Beasts by assisting Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s goal.
Since his international debut in 2019, Kudus has been a pivotal player for the Black Stars, scoring 11 goals in 33 matches.
The incident highlights the intense scrutiny faced by professional athletes on social media and the importance of maintaining professionalism, even in the face of criticism.
