Speaking on the No.1 Gospel Showbiz programme on No.1 105.3 FM, he issued a cautionary message to his fellow pastors.

Highlighting a common scenario where a woman may seek shelter for the night after church events, Pastor Allotey warned against the potential dangers of such situations.

He emphasized the risk of temptation when men and women share close quarters, likening it to a volatile interaction.

I’ll use this opportunity to advise men of God. I’m not ashamed to speak about what I’ve been through,” he said.

He stressed his sense of responsibility, noting: “I deal with my own issues and I don’t involve other people.”

“There are people who have come to tempt me and they came as angels. I’m talking about women who come to you as angels. Someone looking on may mistake it for your weakness and poor sense of judgment, ignorant of the schemes of the tempter and your innocence. By the time you realize what’s going on, you’ve fallen for the trick and you’re at the police station,” he said, revealing: “A woman once took me to a police station accusing me of rape.”

Addressing the question of culpability, Pastor Allotey challenged the notion of rape in certain contexts, particularly when dealing with individuals who have a history of multiple abortions and promiscuity.

He said: “How can you rape someone who’s had three abortions? I mean, someone who’s had multiple abortions and is fond of unrestrained sexual behavior, what is rape when you sleep with such a person?”
