Bayern Munich have rekindled their interest in Joao Palhinha at the request of new boss Vincent Kompany after the deal to bring the Portuguese midfielder to the Allianz Arena.

Premier League club Fulham have rejected German powerhouse Bayern Munich’s opening offer for the Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha.
Although Joao Palhinha is willing to make the move to Bayern Munich, it looks like Fulham are not ready to let him leave if certain conditions are not met.

Bayern Munich made an opening bid of £30million, but Fulham are looking for in excess of £50m.
Before the beginning of last season, Joao Palhinha came close to joining Bayern Munich after they struck a £55m deal with Fulham. However that deal did not materialize on transfer deadline day.
Joao Palhinha went on to make 39 appearances for Fulham last season in the Premier League and other domestic competitions.
Reports indicate that if Bayern Munich improve their initial offer to Fulham, they might be offered Palhinha.
