Speaking in his post-game interview, Addo praised Ayew not only for his goal-scoring prowess but also for his overall contributions to the team’s performance. “He is a striker who can work defensively very well. Tactically, he is very, very intelligent, and that’s why sometimes you can use him also as a winger. He closes everything down, he works hard, and people don’t see it so often,” Addo remarked.
Addo continued to highlight Ayew’s versatility and work ethic, stating, “I’m happy for him. He plays the number nine because he can hold the ball, he has a good finish, and he has a nose for goals. I see it in training. He is very hardworking.”
