Fifteen-time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid has reaffirmed its participation in the revamped 2024 FIFA Club World Cup, despite recent comments from their manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Carlo Ancelotti in a interview expressed his dissatisfaction with the compensation FIFA proposed for the revamped 32-team tournament, stating that the financial offer undervalued the 15-time Champions League winners.

Despite this, Real Madrid as a club has issued a statement to reaffirm their commitment to the tournament.
