Reports indicate that former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is hoping to return to the Premier League after parting ways with Arsenal some time ago.

Matteo Guendouzi’s future at Lazio remains uncertain despite Igor Tudor’s resignation. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Newcastle United have joined Aston Villa in the race for the French midfielder.
Matteo Guendouzi had expressed a desire to leave Lazio if Igor Tudor had remained as manager.

Matteo Guendouzi had not been on good terms with the Croatian tactician since their time together at Marseille, and during Tudor’s short spell at Lazio, Guendouzi lost his starting spot.
According to Gazzetta, Matteo Guendouzi has not yet decided on his future at the Stadio Olimpico.
Aston Villa are reportedly preparing to make a €25 million offer for Matteo Guendouzi this summer.
Matteo Guendouzi is tempted by a return to the Premier League, and would be delighted to reunite with his former Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, at Aston Villa.
