Mary Anane Awuku, spouse of the Director General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Sammi Awuku, has unveiled her book on Entrepreneurship.

The book was introduced during a concise event held at the African Regent Hotel in Accra on June 8, 2024.
The book “Entrepreneurial Success” delves into the journeys of more than 30 Ghanaian Entrepreneurs spanning various fields and specialties.
During the book launch event, Mary Anane Awuku highlighted that her book offers valuable insights for aspiring entrepreneurs.
She expressed that she chose to address entrepreneurship in her book due to its significant role in complementing government efforts.

“Business startups make a significant contribution to the nation’s economy. It is entrepreneurs who feed the government. So let’s use this to support and educate people so well that they will be able to excel in entrepreneurship and create jobs for people. The government alone cannot do it all. We need the private sector to support job creation as well,” she said.
On his end, the Chairman of the event, Alex Apau Dadey, emphasized that entrepreneurship is instrumental in wealth creation. Nevertheless, he stressed the importance for aspiring entrepreneurs to acquire knowledge and expertise before venturing into entrepreneurship.
