Wave Africa, the organizers of the TF Hostel Artiste Night, have offered an explanation regarding why Shatta Wale was unable to perform at the TF hostel.

There were reports indicating that Stonebwoy was implicated in the cancellation of Shatta Wale’s performance.
Shatta Wale was observed in a live video accusing Stonebwoy and directing insults towards his family, among other grievances, for the alleged sabotage.

However, in a statement clarifying the situation, Wave Africa explained that the Dean of Students permitted the event to proceed only on the condition that Shatta Wale did not perform.
No explanation was provided for her decision to prohibit the performance of the Dancehall King.
