On the debut day of her first album, Tems garnered 5.33 million global streams, securing the second spot, just behind Ayra Starr, who amassed 6.3 million opening day streams for her latest album ‘The Year I Turned 21’.
Tems has etched her name in the annals of the Nigerian music scene, boasting several records, including being the inaugural Nigerian female artist to clinch a Grammy award. She secured this feat in 2022 for Best Melodic Rap Performance, attributed to Future’s ‘Wait For U’, in which she collaborated with Drake.
