Boxing sensation Ryan Garcia found himself in hot water after being arrested for causing damage to a hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, according to police reports.

The 25-year-old American boxer was apprehended under suspicion of felony vandalism and later taken to a local hospital for undisclosed reasons.
Garcia, renowned for his prowess in the ring, faced further setbacks after testing positive for the banned substance ostarine in two separate tests prior to his last fight, a points victory over Devin Haney on April 20.
Beverly Hills police responded to a call from the Waldorf Astoria regarding an “intoxicated person,” where it was discovered that Garcia, a registered guest at the hotel, had caused damage to a guest room and the hallway.
“Hotel management requested the arrest of Mr. Garcia for property damage,” stated the police report.

In response to the incident, Garcia’s lawyer, Darin T. Chavez, revealed that Garcia has been grappling with personal challenges, particularly concerning his mother’s health.
“Ryan has been open about his struggles with mental health over the years, and at this time he is dealing with an immense emotional burden,” Chavez stated.
Garcia, who boasts an impressive 26-fight record with just one defeat to Gervonta Davis in 2023, is considered one of the brightest stars in American boxing.
However, his recent troubles highlight the challenges he is facing both inside and outside the ring.
