The judge stated that the Minority Leader did not provide any legal grounds for a mistrial or an investigation into the Attorney General’s actions.
Earlier this week, Dr. Ato Forson filed a document supporting his motion for a mistrial, an injunction, and/or a stay of proceedings in the ongoing case involving him and two others.

His legal team cited a leaked conversation between the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame, and the third accused, Richard Jakpa.
They alleged that the Attorney General was trying to coach the third accused to implicate Dr. Ato Forson in the trial.
Dr. Forson’s team argued that the Attorney General’s behavior amounted to misconduct and called for a mistrial.
Despite these arguments, the High Court ruled against the application, allowing the trial to continue as planned.
