Bannon got in trouble for not cooperating with the investigation into the Capitol attack in January 2021. Even though he tried to appeal, the court rejected his arguments.

Now, the judge says Bannon has to go to prison, despite his plans to fight the decision in higher courts.

Bannon seems determined to keep fighting, saying he’ll go all the way to the Supreme Court if needed.

He believes the government is targeting him to silence supporters of Trump. But prosecutors aren’t convinced by his arguments. They say he hasn’t shown enough reason to delay going to prison.

Bannon’s lawyer tried to argue that he should stay out of prison until the Supreme Court reviews the case. But the judge didn’t buy it. He pointed out that other cases like Navarro’s were different and that Bannon’s arguments didn’t convince the court.

Now, Bannon has less than a month to figure out his next move. He might try to delay his sentence further by going to higher courts, but time is running out.
