He described this mindset as one of the most disgraceful behaviors he has observed.
According to Pastor Idowu, men with a consumer mentality believe they are incapable of creating or producing anything on their own.
Instead, they look for financial support through marriage, aiming to achieve success by marrying a rich woman.

He questioned how a grown man could have a life strategy centered around marrying for money, suggesting it shows a lack of self-belief and creativity.
Pastor Idowu also highlighted the issue of planning marital finances based on receiving money from others. He argued that relying on others for financial support in marriage planning indicates a lack of critical wisdom.
He emphasized the importance of men believing in their own abilities to succeed and produce, rather than depending on the wealth of their spouses.
