Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar broke down in tears as she recounted her ongoing struggle with a mysterious illness in a recent video. On her Instagram page, the actress shared a video in which she claimed that only she truly understands what she has endured with her illness.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported her without criticism, judgment, or condemnation. Through tears, she revealed that while the illness felt like a punishment from the devil, God used it to teach her a lesson and make her thankful for life. She had to use a filter so that her face would look better for the video she made and posted.

Halima clarified that she wasn’t seeking pity but wanted to appreciate her Maker for sustaining her through the terrible illness, one she wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
