Yves Bissouma, a midfielder for Tottenham, fell victim to a robbery in Cannes, France, last Sunday. The robbers, pretending to be fans seeking a selfie, managed to steal Bissouma’s Richard Mille luxury watch, worth £260k. They used tear gas and pepper spray to carry out their crime.

Following the incident, the 27-year-old footballer and his partner have returned to England. As a result, Bissouma is expected to miss Mali’s important FIFA World Cup qualifier match against Ghana in Bamako.
Bissouma transferred to Spurs from Brighton in the summer of 2022 for a sum of £25 million, along with additional payments.
During the last season, he played in 28 matches for the club, contributing to their fifth-place finish in the Premier League and their qualification for the Europa League.
