This revelation was made during a chat with YouTuber and content creator, Korty EO. Tems’ discomfort with her body was not due to vanity but rather her dedication to her music.

Tems felt her physical appearance was becoming a barrier in her career. As a result, she decided to switch her wardrobe from attractive outfits to more loose-fitting clothes to divert attention away from her appearance.

Tems admitted that she didn’t always appreciate her body and was often confused. She would frequently visit various studios alone, interacting with strangers, and reaching out to people to learn music production.

Her main objective was to create music. If her attractiveness was a distraction and a hurdle to her goal, she was ready to assist in eliminating that distraction. Hence, she adopted a strategy of wearing baggy clothes and adopting a dominant persona in the studio to prevent any potential distractions.

“I used to not always like my body. I just didn’t understand a lot of things. I was going to a lot of studios alone, meeting people I didn’t know and had never met. I’ll message people to ask them to teach me how to produce music for people”.

“So, because of my objective which is just wanting to make music, if my being attractive is disturbing you and stopping me from achieving my goal, I am going to help you. So, when I go to the studio, I wear like baggy clothes and I’m in my alpha mode because I want you to not be seduced by me.”
