Officers from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Manhyia Divisional Command apprehended Lil Win. His arrest comes in the wake of the death of a three-year-old boy involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by the actor.
The boy’s family has been vocal in their calls for justice, urging authorities to take swift action. Police explained that the delay in Lil Win’s arrest was due to his health condition following the accident.

Lil Win faces charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm. The prosecution informed the court that investigations are ongoing and emphasized that the accused should be available whenever required.
Counsel for Lil Win, Margaret Adjei-Twum, argued that her client had sustained serious injuries, including internal bleeding, and should be granted bail to receive necessary medical treatment. She assured the court that Lil Win, being a well-known figure in the country, would not abscond during the legal proceedings.
