Cyndi Lauper has announced her final tour, marking the end of an era for the iconic singer-songwriter.

The “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” hitmaker revealed plans for a farewell tour, which will see her embark on a national journey across 23 cities in North America this fall.
The farewell tour, titled the “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour,” will kick off on October 18, 2024, in Montreal and conclude on December 5 at Chicago’s United Center.
Lauper’s decision to bid adieu to touring comes after a decade since her last major road trip.

While Lauper has not provided specific reasons for her retirement from touring, fans can expect to hear more about her decision in the upcoming days.

She is set to discuss her farewell tour and reflect on her illustrious career in a new documentary titled “Let the Canary Sing,” premiering on Paramount+ on June 4, 2024.
Throughout the tour, Lauper will grace iconic arena venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome. Additionally, she will perform at non-arena locations, including the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert and San Francisco’s Chase Center.
Tickets for the farewell tour will be available for purchase starting June 7, 2024, with an artist presale on June 5. Opening acts for the tour will be revealed at a later date, promising a memorable and fitting send-off for Lauper as she bids farewell to the stage.
