Gordon, a standout player for the Lobos, was a two-time All-Mountain West selection who played for the team during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons after transferring from UCLA. His impact on the court was profound, leading the Mountain West in rebounding with an impressive 11.1 rebounds per game during his senior year in 2011-12.

That season, he also averaged 13.7 points per game, becoming the last Lobo to average a double-double for a season. His efforts were instrumental in propelling the Lobos to a Mountain West Championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Over his two-year career at UNM, Gordon averaged 10.8 rebounds per game, placing him fourth in New Mexico history. His 32 career double-doubles rank sixth in the program’s history, cementing his legacy as one of the Lobos’ all-time greats.
Following his collegiate career, Gordon enjoyed an 11-year professional basketball career, playing overseas and in the NBA and NBA G-League. He appeared in nine games for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2014-15 season, becoming the 15th Lobo to play in the NBA. In 2015-16, Gordon’s talent was further recognized when he was selected for the LNB All-Star Game while playing for Champagne Châlons-Reims in France.
Gordon also remained connected to the New Mexico basketball community through The Enchantment, the UNM alumni team that competed in the TBT regional held at The Pit in 2021 and 2022.
