Dominating the Goal Charts:
Kane’s prolific scoring record saw him surpass some of the biggest names in football.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland both finished with 27 goals each. Kane’s remarkable achievement in his first season in Germany cements his status as one of the premier strikers in world football.
Joining Bayern’s Elite:

By winning the Golden Boot, Kane joins an elite group of Bayern Munich legends who have previously won the award.
He follows in the footsteps of Gerd Müller, who won it twice (1969/70 and 1971/72), and Robert Lewandowski, who claimed the title in back-to-back seasons (2020/21 and 2021/22). This accolade places Kane alongside some of the greatest strikers in Bayern’s storied history.

The Golden Boot Legacy:
The Golden Boot, awarded by European Sports Media since 1997 and previously by French magazine L’Équipe between 1968 and 1991, recognizes the top scorer across European leagues.
The scoring system multiplies goals by a factor based on the league’s strength according to UEFA coefficients.
Goals in Europe’s top five leagues are multiplied by two, making Kane’s tally of 36 goals equivalent to 72 points.
