American entertainer Coco Jones recently shared her admiration for Afrobeat sensation Ayra Starr, praising the singer’s remarkable talent and distinct style.

In a widely circulated interview, Jones expressed her fondness for Afrobeat music and her newfound admiration for Ayra Starr, whom she recently met.
She described the “Rush” crooner as a genuinely cool individual and confidently predicted that Ayra Starr is destined for stardom.
However, some criticized Jones for referring to Ayra Starr as an upcoming star, arguing that she has already reached stardom.

Jones, known for her own successes, signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2022. Following the release of her hit single “ICU” in October of the same year, she soared to commercial heights.
The track not only secured a place on the Billboard Hot 100 but also attained platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Additionally, Jones clinched the Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance, among five nominations at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, where she was also a contender for Best New Artist.
In addition to her musical achievements, Jones has made waves in the acting realm. She landed the lead role in the Peacock comedy series “Bel-Air” (2022–present). Notably, her accolades include a BET Award and an NAACP Image Award.
