Speaking on the Angel Morning Show on Kumasi-based Angel FM, Dr. Tetteh described the practice as “absolute foolishness.”
Dr. Tetteh emphasized that while miracles are essential to restoring the church’s credibility, resorting to falsehoods undermines this goal.
“Why do you have to fake God’s miracle? Yes, I know people do that, but it is total foolishness beyond foolishness to fake miracles,” he stated during his conversation with the show’s host, Kwame Tanko.

Despite his criticism, Dr. Tetteh acknowledged that true prophecies and miracles do exist. “It is only a fool who will see a blind man’s eyes open and say it is fake,” he added, highlighting the need for authenticity in spiritual practices.
Dr. Tetteh, a renowned gospel teacher and author, stressed the importance of integrity in spiritual matters. He warned that faking miracles can erode faith and trust, and called for sincerity and a genuine connection with the divine.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Tetteh advised believers to trust in God and follow His commands, echoing the sentiments of the hymn, “when we walk with the Lord.”
