Romano revealed this during an appearance on the JD Football Podcast while discussing Arsenal’s plans following their narrow miss on the 2023-2024 English Premier League title.

Manchester City secured the league with 91 points, just edging out Arsenal, who finished with 89 points, marking City’s fourth consecutive league title.

Speaking on the podcast, Romano suggested that the Black Stars player is poised for an exit as Arsenal looks to bolster their squad, particularly aiming to sign a new left-back.

“They have several players lined up. There is a good chance they will bring in a new midfielder – Thomas Partey will leave. Jorginho has been extended, but I also think they want to sign a new left-back,” Romano stated.

Partey’s season was marred by injuries, limiting his appearances as the Gunners pursued their first EPL title in 21 years. He played just 16 games across all competitions in the past season, a significant drop from his usual contributions.
