Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie, recently welcomed her first child, a daughter named Eloise Samantha Grainge, with her husband, Elliot Grainge.

The new mom expressed her joy, calling it the “best day of my life.” Sofia had previously shared her pregnancy news in January, anticipating a May or June birth for her Gemini baby.
Despite initially thinking they were having a boy, Sofia and Elliot were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of their daughter.
Sofia confessed to Vogue that while boys typically desire sons, Elliot, who comes from a family of sisters, was thrilled about having a girl.

The couple, who married in a lavish ceremony in April 2023, had casually started trying for a baby around that time. Sofia suspected her pregnancy after feeling unwell at a Milan fashion show, later confirming it with a test in L.A.
