Chelsea have not made any contact with Vincent Kompany, the manager of relegated Burnley, to replace the recently departed Mauricio Pochettino. Pochettino and Chelsea mutually agreed to part ways, despite the team finishing strongly in his first season.

The Blues finished sixth, securing a European spot that could be either the Europa League or Conference League.
Their final position will be confirmed based on the result of the upcoming FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United on Saturday.

As Chelsea searches for a new manager, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that despite the rumors, Kompany has not been contacted by the club. The Manchester City legend is said to only have discussions in place with Bayern Munich.
Romano stated,
“Vincent Kompany has still not received any call from Chelsea despite links with the job. Kompany remains in contact with FC Bayern as revealed on Monday, talks took place and he’s keen on this chance. He’s waiting for Bayern to decide for their favorite option in the list.”
Kompany led Burnley back into the English Premier League last season, but struggled to keep them up, resulting in their relegation in his first season in charge.
