Marcus Rashford has been an integral squad member of the England national football team for the past few years and his omission has raised a lot of eyebrows.
Marcus Rashford has not had the best of forms and his injury situation has also affected him very much. He actually bagged just eight goals in over 40 appearances for Manchester United this season.

This is the first time Marcus Rashford has not been included in a major tournament since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Marcus Rashford faced very stiff competition with several England forwards and he could not make the cut into the squad list.
The likes of Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Cole Palmer, and Bukayo Saka were impressive during the season and are amongst the provisional squad.
Gareth Southgate stated that the other players competing with Marcus Rashford in his position had better season than he had.
