Conceicao, who is 49 years old, is likely to leave Porto when the season ends. He was previously thought of for the Barcelona position when Xavi hinted at possibly stepping down.
With Flick and Marquez as the frontrunners, Conceicao’s willingness to join makes him another strong candidate for the club.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has ruled out Conceicao as a candidate. According to Laporta, the Portuguese tactician does not “fit the Barca DNA.”
