The Blues needed to match or surpass Manchester City’s result against Aston Villa to clinch the title, and they did so with a convincing 6-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Despite Manchester City’s 2-1 win, Chelsea claimed the title on goal difference.

In her final appearance for the club, Chelsea’s all-time leading goal scorer, Fran Kirby, scored the sixth goal.

Manchester United, led by legend Sir Alex Ferguson, will be disappointed with the result.

Emma Hayes, who announced her departure in November, concludes her successful 12-year tenure at Chelsea on a high note. She will now take the helm of the US Women’s National Team.

This title win marks Chelsea’s fifth consecutive league victory under her guidance.

During her remarkable career at Chelsea, Hayes has also secured five Women’s FA Cups, two Women’s League Cups, and a Women’s Community Shield.
