Alexander Ababio, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tano Bofoakwa, has stressed that the club’s primary focus is on securing their position in the Ghana Premier League rather than pursuing victory in the FA Cup title.

The Tano Bofoakwa currently holds the 11th position in the league standings and is scheduled to face FC Samartex in a pivotal Matchday 30 encounter at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Sunday.
In an interview with Citi Sports, Ababio emphasized the significance of securing wins in their upcoming matches to guarantee their survival in the league.

“Right now, if I have to choose, I would prioritize staying in the league. We prepare for each match with the aim of achieving and maintaining our Premier League status, which is our ultimate goal for now,” he said.
Mr. Ababio also touched upon their impending FA Cup final against Nsoatreman FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, emphasizing that the team’s primary focus remains unwaveringly on their performance in the league.
“With Nsoatreman, I hope we can beat them. Since joining the premiership, we’ve drawn in both encounters, and while we managed to eliminate Dreams FC, we won’t be complacent. This is going to be a local derby, and we will prepare well to beat them,” Ababio added.
