Edward Afum, former Asante Kotoko player has disclosed that he has not retired from football, even though he has been inactive for some time.

In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Afum, who has been without a club for some time, reiterated his eagerness to return to action.
“I have not retired from football. I’m waiting for the right offer to return to action. There are a lot of clubs who wants my services” he revealed.

The 34-year-old forward played for the Porcupine Warriors in 2012 before moving to join Hearts of Oak the next season.
In January 2019, the ex-Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko player signed a two-year contract with the Wonder Club and participated in the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.
The former Great Olympics striker clinched a Premier League title with Asante Kotoko.
