Joan Laporta Likely To Sack Xavi At The End Of The Season

Barcelona President, Joan Laporta, is likely to make a U-turn on his decision to retain Xavi Hernandez as the head coach of Barcelona CF.

According to multiple reports, Joan Laporta has decided to part ways with Xavi Hernandez as Barcelona’s head coach just after a few weeks of giving the nod to the head coach to remain with the Spanish club throughout the upcoming season.

Reports revealed that some comments made by Xavi Hernandez during the pre-match conference when Barcelona were playing Almeria made Joan Laporta unhappy.

The real issue was about Xavi’s cpomment about Barcelona’s unpreparedness to bring Vitor Roque in January.

This has raised eyebrows amongst the board members of Barcelona and they are now mounting pressure for Joan Laporta to part ways with Xavi at the end of the season.

Joan Laporta and Xavi Hernandez agreed on some conditions and reports reveal that the Barcelona head coach is flouting a number of them.
