Multiple award-winning highlife musician, Kofi Kinaata has said among all his three nominations for the TGMA, his keen interest is to win the Reggae Song of the Year category.

Kinaata explained that the Reggae Song of the Year award is the only category he has yet to win. Other top-notch artists like Samini, Stonebwoy, and Episode are also in the same Reggae Song of the Year category as Kofi Kinaata.

The ‘Effiakuma Love’ hitmaker disclosed this in an interview on TV3’s New Day on Wednesday, May 15.
“I want to win the Reggae Song of the Year because I don’t have that award yet so I want to win though I am in the same category with my godfather Samini, my senior brother Stonebwoy, and Episode. Asey won mami feel [you guys should let me win],” he said.
He was nominated in the category with his hit song ‘Effiakuma Love’ which he said is a “very good song and would be great if it wins the category.”
