The police have been compelled to use force to arrest the controversial singer, Portable after he tried evading being apprehended over an alleged N14M debt for his G-Wagon.

It would be recalled that the singer had made the rounds yesterday after a video showed the moment he scaled a gate to avoid being arrested by the police who approached him amicably.

New videos that have surfaced on social media show Portable being forcibly arrested by the police. He had been hurled off the ground and carried into a waiting police van which took him to the station by force.
Another footage made the rounds online, showing Portable being carried by the officers after he tried to run from them. At some point in the video, he twirled his body amid the many hands holding his hands and legs, and it seemed like he was going to drop into the gutter while the policemen tried to bundle him into the waiting car.
A spokesperson for the Lagos state police command confirmed that he has since been taken into custody.
