During a church service, these billionaires requested a detailed monthly report on how their tithes were being utilized, despite Pastor Adeboye’s belief that it was contrary to biblical teachings.
Reluctantly, he complied, curious to witness God’s intervention.

Within two years, these billionaires encountered significant downturns, including the cancellation of contracts. They attributed their misfortunes to offending God by questioning the use of their tithes.
Despite Pastor Adeboye’s non-confrontational approach and intention to demonstrate God’s grace, those who attempted to outsmart God eventually left the church and lost their billionaire status.
The sermon elicited mixed reactions from listeners, with some emphasizing the importance of approaching tithing with strategic persuasion, while others noted cultural differences in receiving such messages.
