The Niger State Police Command recently made a significant arrest, nabbing a female suspect engaged in thuggery while masquerading as a police officer.

Identified as Paulina Ayuba, the suspect was apprehended wearing a police camouflage uniform.
This arrest came after diligent work by the police patrol team attached to Maitumbi Division, acting on reliable information.
Paulina Ayuba was not only found in possession of a knife but also with illegal substances, including Indian hemp and other hard drugs.

Upon interrogation, she claimed affiliation with a vigilante group in Suleja, stating that the uniform was given to her for dry cleaning by an unknown individual, which she allegedly took without permission.
According to SP Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesperson for the command, the suspect will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Minna for further investigation and prosecution.
This arrest underscores the commitment of the Niger State Police Command to maintaining law and order in the state.
It also serves as a warning to those engaging in criminal activities that the long arm of the law will catch up with them, regardless of their disguises.
