Michael Gyan were immediately suspended for reportedly failing to fulfill their duties at the Electoral Commission Office in Adugyama, Ashanti region.

A statement released by the police indicated that on May 11, 2024, the trio neglected their responsibilities as security officers when certain individuals attempted to disrupt the registration process.
