These remarks were made during a visit by Dr. DaCosta Aboagye, the newly appointed Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), during his tour of the Eastern Region.
Dr. Aboagye also emphasized the importance of promoting the establishment of travel medical insurance in Ghana. Such insurance would grant healthcare access to diasporans who often visit Ghana, particularly following the ‘Year of Return’ and ‘Beyond the Return’ campaigns.
