The House of Representatives has taken a decisive step to investigate the puzzling escape of Nadeem Anjarwalla, an executive from the cryptocurrency exchange company, Binance. GistReel reports that the incident took place at a Guest House under the jurisdiction of the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

This security breach has raised serious concerns and prompted the House of Representatives to launch a thorough probe into the matter.

The decision to probe the incident followed the adoption of a motion moved by Hon Dominic Okafor, at the Plenary session presided over by the Speaker Hon Tajudeen Abbas
The House further mandated its relevant committees to investigate personnel involved in the escape of Nadeem Anjarwalla insisting that the NSA cannot be a judge in its case.
While moving the motion, the lawmakers noted that the Federal government arrested and detained Nadeem Anjarwalla, an executive of a cryptocurrency exchange Company, Binance on February 26, 2024, for alleged complicity of the Company in money laundering and terrorism financing.
